Vizag beach
The way it is we already love our beach in Visakhapatnam the way it is. But, can it get better? Yes, for sure. While tourists throng the place and there are few things like the submarine and aircraft museum that are nowhere else, there is a lot that can be added. Taking an example from the beach zones within the city at other places in the world, there are few that would take Visakhapatnam beach to a whole new level. Visakhapatnam beach is true love but here are 5 things that would take it to a whole new level altogether.
Have you ever noticed the stark absence of greenery on beach road? Really hard to notice this due to the lovely scenic view of the beach but yes, greenery on the sands is one that would surely take Vizag beach to a new level.
Backpackers, foreigners and travel bugs dig heaven from the beach with a shack on it. A shack is where they can soak up in the sun, lounge and have a few thirst quenchers and enjoy. Why not shacks at Vizag beach? There has been so much done elsewhere. that the absence is utterly glaring.
Be it in Goa, Andaman and other places, the sands on the beach lend themselves well to flea markets. Not daily, but a day in the week or few days a month, when all shoppers and sellers unite for beautiful, colorful wares on display would be utterly great.
The city makes a beeline for this zone and so do visitors. So why not have a Live Music Platform especially for local artists of Visakhapatnam. For a few days in a month or in any organized way, this would be great for visitors to entertain themselves as well as for artists to gain visibility.
Beach patrol that keeps a watch on the things going on, help and rescue in need and for maintaining law and order as well would be a great idea. Yes, there are officers patrolling around but it would really help if there would be a shelter for the officers to stay and pan around the location. Some more in smart clothes patrolling visibly would be great for sure.
There are definitely a few more that we can think of, but here is what we list for now. More to come later. Add what you think would make our beloved beach even more awesome.
