Have you ever been in bed at the middle of the night, struggling to sleep, hopping from one social media app to another or trying to see which friend of yours is online to have a late night conversation? Well, here are five things to do at night when it gets really hard for you to fall asleep instead of using the social media.
Trust me it is way better than watching an entire season of television series, straining your eyes late at night. Reading a novel is another wonderful way of getting engrossed into a whole new different world. So what are you still waiting for? Grab a novel and read to the demons under your bed until you fall asleep.
Cook and Eat! There is 45% chance that you are unable to sleep because of an empty or half full stomach. So, try making a dish which makes your tummy khush! Try out new recipes that turn out to be tasty and mouthwatering.
Thirdly, settle down the messy things. A day long work, interactions and hanging out keeps all of us fully occupied throughout the day leaving our rooms messy for we have no time to settle them during the day.
Aren’t you feeling sleepy? Then try settling down your messy rooms and see the miracle happening, you’ll fall asleep in no time!
Fourthly, tap your talents. Pen down your thoughts into verses, sketch a beautiful face, paint a scenery you looked at that morning or try to sing and record your favourite song. Do something to pamper your inborn talents and let them flow out.
Lastly, retrospect and plan! Take out a journal, write down what you have done all day long, what have you missed, the happiest moment, the saddest moment, the most exciting part of your day and you’ll be surprised to see so many variations in a single day. Also, plan for the next day, fix your appointments and create a plan of action.

Adding to these could be a little less productive yet satisfying to do things, going out on a drive, getting some fresh air while sitting on your balcony or taking a walk in your garden or on your terrace!
