Navratri, or Dussehra, is one of the most widely celebrated festivals in India. During this festival, Hindu families get together and spend time performing auspicious acts to seek Goddess Durga’s blessings. India being a diverse country, different states celebrate the festival differently, depicting diverse forms of culture and traditions. Apart from worshipping the deity, the festive season also includes playing dandiya, making special Navratri foods, engaging in divine satsangs, and observing fasts. The most special factor is that each of the nine days has an ascribed colour and food offerings that are followed. With the nine days and nights of Navratri completely dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga, elderly ones in the family ensure that holy songs are played for a majority of the time. To engage in auspicious activities through thought, word and deed, songs and stotrams are played in the house or the puja room. While a routine devotional songs playlist would have been heard numerous number of times, here is a compilation of Devi stotras, and Telugu songs that are played during Dussehra at homes.
Hoping these devotional 9 Devi stotras and Telugu songs played during Dussehra keeps you and your loved ones in the best spirits. Wishing you a prosperous and happy Dussehra.
