IIM Visakhapatnam, one of the most prestigious B-school in Andhra Pradesh, is hosting its first annual cultural fest – Samaarambh. The fest will be a mixed bag of fun featuring competitions that attendees can participate in.
The ‘Tip Toes’ invites you to show off your best dance moves and battle it out with other teams, while ‘Raaga’ lets you belt out amazing tunes to mesmerise the audience. The ‘Lenspot’ allows you to show them the world through your lens and the ‘Pause n’ Play’ lets you to roll out your creativity through a short film. The ‘Spotlight’ on the other hand is for the threatre artiste in you, so put on a stage play and wow the audience.
The highpoint of the fest though will be performances by rock band Underground Authority and a laughter riot by IIM Comic Shridhar. Underground Authority is an Indian alternate rock band that has performed at several festivals across the country and held multiple concerts. Shridhar has done more than 100 shows across India and has hosted comic bigwigs like Vasu Primlani and Kanan Gill.

Here’s how you can be a part of the fun
You can sign up to be a Campus Ambassador and help make the fest a success. Being a part of the Campus Ambassador Programme provides you with a unique platform and lets you be a part of one of the largest college fests in Andhra Pradesh. Campus Ambassadors’ role requires them to help with registrations for events and sales of tickets for the show, in exchange they will get a Certificate of Appreciation from the Students’ Cultural Cluster IIM Visakhapatnam. If you’re exceptional, you might end up getting a letter of appreciation too.
