Luke’s College of Music and Audio Technology, run by the famed Ashirvad Luke, is offering a crash course this summer for people of all ages. The crash course that will last from May 1 to June 1 will teach you to play quality chords, chord progressions, scales, arpeggios, riffs and licks.
The course will also leave you equipped with bassing and comping styles with proper techniques, and essential rudiments for drums, cross rhythms, compound time signatures and more. The instruments that will be taught are piano/keyboard, guitar, drums, western violin, flute and sax. Classes for the same will run trice a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The course also offers signing, where once can learn to sing the most complicated songs with ease and endurance. The vocal training covers western and Indian music, along with contemporary styles and mic techniques. Classes for the same will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The music theory class will be teaching site reading – western staff notation, Indian music notations – identifying swaras and ear training.
