Bodhtree Consulting Limited, a leading IT consulting and software service provider, will soon be setting up its office at Visakhapatnam’s Fintech Valley. It has been learned that the company has signed a MoU with the government of Andhra Pradesh to open a facility here, at the Fintech Valley, with a seating capacity of 200. According to a press release, Bodhtree is set to invest Rs 50 crores in phases. The confirmation of this project came when the company’s top officials met state’s IT minister, Nara Lokesh, in Vijayawada on Friday.
Bodhtree will be providing GSP (GST Suvidha provider) services and deal with the needs of the public of Andhra Pradesh in this regard.
GSPs provide the necessary support to the taxpayers in the IT ecosystem for GST filings and other GST related issues. Subsequently, Bodhtree will expand its services to cloud computing, analytics services, and others from their facility in Visakhapatnam.
A report in The Hindu Business Line quoted Bodhtree’s Managing Director, L N Rama Krishna, saying, “We are delighted to set up our new IT center in Andhra Pradesh.We are confident that we will expand our footprint in the State will be able to cater to the needs of GST of the State.”
The IT consulting firm, which will be investing Rs 50 crores in the next five years, is expected to earn a revenue of Rs 400 crores.
As a matter of fact, Bodhtree has been selected in the first list of 34 GSPs announced by the central government to cater to the country’s GST needs.
