Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Chandrababu Naidu sets sight on dreams of 100% literacy in the state by 2019.
At a recent collectors conference, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has announced his vision of achieving 100% literacy in Andhra Pradesh. He has consequently asked collectors to take necessary steps and proceed on the target. The state as a knowledge hub is what CM Chandrababu Naidu dreams of. Every possible arrangement for children, attaining the school going age, must be made to go to school.
CM Chandrababu Naidu has asked to start 4000 cloud based schools with virtual classrooms with 60 schools in a group.
Arrangements so that every child, attaining the school going age, must be made to go to school. March 15 has been set as the deadline to start the virtual classes with the ideal and appropriate content made ready by the best teachers in Andhra Pradesh. Leaving no stone unturned in this regard, he has asked the models of virtual class rooms around the world be followed to ascertain the best practices to be followed.
As per Business Standard, CM Chandrababu Naidu has asked every department to appoint IOT (internet of things) coordinators to cope up with high standards in technology. Meanwhile, he has also asked the collectors to focus on building Information technology towers in all districts of the state.
As per him, the whole state of Andhra Pradesh should be a knowledge hub and Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Amaravati, IT hubs.
“Leveraging technology will scale up the skill programs, and cloud-hosted multimedia digital content must be utilized in both English and Telugu”, he said.
