Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh launched Andhra Pradesh chapter of Entrepreneurs Organisation (EO) in Vijayawada on Monday. The minister said that the state government aimed at making the state a trillion dollar economy.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Nara Lokesh said that the per capita income of Andhra Pradesh is lower as compared to the other states in South India. However, the minister added, the government is taking several measures to ensure setting up of the corporate units in the state to provide employment to the youngsters.
Mr. Lokesh spoke on how our Govt is focusing on new technologies such as IoT, Drone manufacturing and usage of sensors. “With our focus on growing our state’s startup ecosystem, we are ensuring that our startups are provided with all the necessary infrastructure to flourish and grow into job creators for the youngsters of our state,” he commented.
“Andhra is a rapidly growing state on all fronts. We are definitely prominent on the international map now. EO Andhra’s mission is to grow and nurture budding entrepreneurs from the region who will be instrumental in country’s business growth,” EO Andhra Pradesh Chapter, president Jairam Kambhampati was quoted as saying by Deccan Chronicle.
Popular Telugu singer Smita, who was appointed as learning president for the chapter, spoke about the importance of being an entrepreneur and creating more opportunities for younger generations.
