The Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy is already grabbing headlines. While it was earlier revealed that the Shahid Kapoor starrer has been titled as Kabir Singh, in the latest, actors Vijay Deverakonda and Shahid Kapoor have bonded with each other on Twitter over the film.
Wishing the unit of Kabir Singh, Vijay Deverakonda recently tweeted, “Kabir Singh! Arjun Reddy wishes you the best 🙂 @imvangasandeep – Full power to you my man.” Responding to the same, actor Shahid Kapoor shared, “Was so inspiring to see what you did with this character brother. You will always be the original. Much love.”
Vijay replied to the tweet again and expressed his confidence in the abilities of Shahid Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. “Big brother, much love and respect back. You and Sandeep will do magic. I excitedly await to see you as Kabir!” the Geetha Govindam actor wrote.
The conversation between the two stars seems to be winning Twitter and the fans too have shared their joy over the bonding.
Featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, the Sandeep Reddy directorial is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde. “Arjun Reddy was loved and appreciated now it is time for Kabir Singh! Get ready to see him in 2019,” Shahid Kapoor had previously written on Twitter. The film is expected to hit screens on 21 June 2019.
Arjun Reddy is also being remade in Tamil, with actor Vikram’s son, Dhruv playing the lead. Titled Varma, the film is being directed by National Award-winning director Bala.
