BJP President Amit Shah marked his presence in Andhra Pradesh on Monday. Shah flagged off the party’s Praja Chaitanya Yatra from Palasa and addressed a public gathering in the region. While speaking to the gathering, the BJP President minced no words as he launched a scathing attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Amit Shah stated that Naidu will no longer get a chance to form an alliance with NDA. “I assure the people of Andhra Pradesh and BJP workers that NDA’s doors are closed forever for Chandrababu Naidu,” Shah said while addressing the rally.
The BJP President recalled that Chandrababu Naidu first started out as a Congress MLA and always shifted sides to enjoy power. Slamming Naidu for his allegations on BJP, Amit Shah challenged him to compare the support extended by NDA to Andhra Pradesh in the last five years to that provided by Congress in about 55 years.
“Neither TDP nor YSR Congress Party can fulfill the aspirations of people of Andhra Pradesh, as both are corrupt and dynast. It is only BJP under the leadership of PM Modi can work for a better Andhra Pradesh,” Amit Shah further commented.
Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP broke its ties with NDA last year. The party alleged that the centrer had failed to fulfill the promises made to Andhra Pradesh and has been demanding justice to the state ever since.
