The APEPDCL is charging Rs. 7 per unit and the estimated savings after the installation of the solar panels is around Rs. 20 lakhs. The finalization of the project will be done around September and the operation of solar power could be expected by January or February, 2017.
Another achievement for the Vizag railway station is the installment of 2 lifts by the first week of August. The capacity of each lift is 500 kgs.
