Actor Nani
The fans were left concerned after Actor Nani was involved in an accident when his car rammed into an electric pole during the early hours of Friday in Hyderabad.
The accident reportedly took place on Jubilee Hills Road No 45 when the actor, along with his driver, was travelling to Gachibowli. It has also been learned that the driver allegedly dozed off behind the wheel and crashed the vehicle into the pole. Luckily, the duo escaped with minor injuries. Nani took to Twitter to keep his fans informed of his condition.
Naresh, Sub Inspector, Jubilee Police Station said, “The accident occurred around 4.30 am on Friday when the SUV driven by Srinivas with Nani in the backseat, rammed into an electric pole. Fortunately, the airbags installed in the car saved their lives and the impact of the crash was reduced.”
A case was booked against the driver, under Section 3 of the PDPP (prevention of damage to public property) Act, and the police are looking for further insights.
Nani, who recently scored a hit with ‘MCA‘, is currently shooting for ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’. The film is being directed by Merlapaka Gandhi of ‘Express Raja’ fame and is being produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the banner Shine Screens.
