ACTOR IN WONDERLAND

Born and bred in the USA, Sesh grew up wanting to be an actor. Fuelling his dreams, he did a four-year course in film direction at the San Francisco State University. He also walked away with ‘Mr India San Francisco’ and ‘Mr India Waves’ titles.

IT’S ALL ABOUT ‘KARMA’

Ironically or incidentally, he says that he started believing in karma after a major accident when he was studying in the USA, which germinated the seed of his debut movie “Karma”. This is the first Telugu film to be shot in the USA completely with all foreign technicians. Nevertheless, he even donned the director’s hat for the same.

NO LOOKING BACK!

‘Karma’ might not be a commercial hit, but it got him noticed by some eminent personalities in the industry, thus fetching him Panjaa.“ The novelty of my debut movie was embraced only after it left theatres. Nevertheless, thanks to the constructive criticism”, he says.

TOLLYWOOD STANCE

Asked about what maketh success, he says, “It’s hard to decode what exactly is the prelude to success. Investment could be your hard-work, how cordial you are with everyone, your commitment and sometimes it all boils down to luck. Maybe, it’s actually a combination of all this.”

BAAHUBALI– THE MOVIE

Sesh’s talent was appreciated and adulations were showered post his debut, and ace director Rajamouli was one among the few supporters since the beginning. “Baahubali happened without any hustle-bustle and I am blessed to be part of India’s biggest motion picture. Playing an antagonist is no pain to me if the script is crisp and concrete.”

HOME NEXT TO HOME

When asked about his connection with Vizag, he quickly calls it second home, having spent some treasured years of his childhood here. He proudly addresses the city as Goa of South India and gets all the more nostalgic. “Of late, work brings me down to the city often.”

IN THE PIPELINE

Kshanam, a suspense thriller with a pinch of romance is all dolled up to hit the screens this March 4. “Another movie under the direction of my brother Sai Kiran Adivi, is on the cards” he says, signing off.
