Aesthetic Accomodations – V Hotel

A tall grey building stands out at a busy locale. It is home to the newest business hotel in town – V Hotel.

The Setting

A subtly placed sign glows in the dark, announcing the name of the hotel. A clear glass front invites you into a cocoon of dove grey walls, snowy marble, polished glass and chocolate wood. Creamy white couches and a front desk that glows softly stand between the wooden floors and high ceilings. Radiant lights shine down on a shelf lined with plants.

Six floors of the hotel hold 42 rooms of three different kinds; done up in shades of cream and wood with random pops of bright colour. V Hotel also has a cosy banquet hall called Summit with comfortable seating and tables that can hold 90 guests at any given time. A wooden partition divides the banquet hall from The Board Room that can seat 20.

The Restaurant

On the first floor, a wooden wall with a sign at its centre identifies the restaurant – Olive. Enter into the all-day, fine dining restaurant and a shelf lined with green plants, colourful succulents and prickly cacti divides the vast restaurant into two. On one side stands a mirrored wall and on another stand floor to ceiling windows. Glowing circular lanterns shine down warm light onto white table-tops and wooden chairs with burnt orange cushions. A white counter stands in a corner with a buffet spread out behind it.

The diverse menu that holds Indian, Asian and Continental fare boasts of scrumptious dishes. For breakfast one can opt for a Continental breakfast complete with soft croissants or go Indian and have a piping hot Tomato Bhath Upma or Uttapam. For lunch and dinner, a Middle Eastern Mezze Platter or Shanghai Chicken are appetising. If the Deggi Mirch Paneer Tikka or Tandoori Pomfret are more your taste, they have that too. Graduate on to the Trio of Ragout or Olive Polenta or choose from their wide range of Asian, North and South Indian dishes. The perfect finale to your meal could be a colourful Ice Cream Sundae or a creamy Coconut Cream Caramel. For those just craving for a snack and not a full course meal, they have Kati Rolls, Pakodas, Sandwiches and more.

Yo! Recommends

Try their Basil Pesto Creamy Sauce Pasta, Avakai Chicken Tikka Biryani and the American Crazy Burger. Don’t miss the Fried Ice Cream coated with nuts.
