The 4 day 9th All India Dance Festival will begin on 22nd September.
What
Padma Vibhushan Dr. Sonal Mansingh would be performing Odissi on the first day. The festival will have a solo and a group performance every day. This year’s festival would witness top of the line performances from Dr. Sonal Mansingh (Odissi) from New Delhi, Ghiridhar Kala Kendra (Purulia Chhau) from Jharkhand and T. Nanaotomba Singh & Group (Pung Cholom) and RK Sanathoi Chanu & Group (Manipuri) from Manipur.
What Else
Every day after their respective performances the artists would receive an award from the Nataraj Music and Dance Academy.
The entry is free. Anybody with an invitation is welcome to attend the programme.
