Urban Ladder Ties Up With Amazon India In A Smart Move!

Amazon India and Urban Ladder have joined hands, the home depot will list 300 of its furniture items and mattresses on Amazon. The service will be available in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and six other cities across the country. The move is likely to boast sales for both the e-commerce sites. In the next phase, Urban Ladder is set to launch 400 home décor items on the website. From now on, Urban Ladder will only encourage bookings through Amazon in the 10 cities. Delivery and installation will still be handled by Urban Ladder’s executives though.

Ashish Goel, co-founder and chief executive officer at Urban Ladder said that the common ground for both the companies was their principle of customer obsession. He believes the platform will give them leverage to multiple channels and give them access to offer new customers a new experience with online shopping. Rajiv Srivatsa, the other founder says Amazon has a bigger reach in terms of customers and it would benefit the brand to be seen listed there.

With its rival Pepperfry receiving substantial funding from private investors, this move will help Urban Ladder gain an edge.
