In what is expected to facilitate the journey for those looking to travel to the Tirumala temple in Tirupati, the Andhra Pradesh tourism is set to roll out its Balaji Darshan tour package. Apart from taking the visitors on a darshan of the Tirumala temple, the package also includes tours to Srinivasa Mangapuram, Tiruchanur and Srikalahasti temples in a single day.
“This new package has been designed in a way that would enable the visitors to not only have darshan of the Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala but also the Srinivasa Mangapuram, Tiruchanur and Srikalahasti temples, all in a single day,” APTDC Managing Director K. Dhanunjay Reddy was quoted as saying by The Hindu.
Reportedly, the Balaji Darshan package, which would be launched on Saturday, marking the occasion of Ugadi, will be starting from Vijayawada at 10 pm. The visitors will be returning back to the city at 5 am on the third day.
The Balaji Darshan package would be consisting of an air-conditioned bus, and food, including snacks, lunch, and dinner. While the package will cost Rs 3,775 per head for elders, it will cost Rs Rs 3000 per head for children.
Initially, the tour would be operated every alternate day and depending on the demand, it might be operated on a daily basis.
