Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu is currently in Davos to attend the World Economic Forum meeting from January 21st to January 25th. In his absence, Hindupur MLA Balakrishna who happens to be his relation as brother in law occupied his chair in Andhra Pradesh CMs office. This action has been regarded as an insult to the CMs chair and has been condemned. Instead of using any of the other conference halls that were available, MLA Balakrishna sought to occupy the office and chair of Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu. this done especially in his absence has left an unpleasant impression.
Balakrishna was holding the meeting at the secretariat to go over matter pertaining to his constituency and the arrangements for the Lepakshi Celebrations coming up. Even though he is a relative and brother in law to the CM, Chandrababu Naidu, it does not give him the right to occupy the CMs chair.
Senior officials in Velagapudi are of the opinion that, any of the conference halls were available and the meeting could be held anywhere but why was the CMs chair occupied? The confusing of personal relations with Chandrababu Naidu with the professional actions is not appreciated by the senior officials.
The Water Resources Minister of Andhra Pradesh was also there at the meeting and he was sitting along with the officials. Balakrishna who is an MLA occupied the chair which leaves a lot of implications viewed at negatively by officials. It is an insulting actions and one which should bever have been committed is what they say.
