Visakhapatnam is all set to host the 3rd meet of Confederation of Indian Industry, CII and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu meets Union Finance Minister ahead of the same for discussions.
Assured of a positive response and outcome, Andhra Pradesh Chief minister Shri Chandrababu Naidu has been to Delhi to meet the Union Minister for Finance Shri Arun Jaitley. Visakhapatnam is meanwhile gearing up to play host for the third successive Confederation of Indian Industry, CII partnership summit next month. The State Government has high hopes for interest from Indian as well as foreign investors. and those from abroad. The summit is to be held for three days from February 24.
The third successive CII partnership summit will be held for 3 continuous days in Visakhapatnam starting from February 24th. It is going to be highlighting investment opportunities in logistics, food processing industries and tourism. The event is going to be held in partnership with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Government of India, and the Andhra Pradesh Government.
Registrations are already in progress and many investors from South Korea, Japan, Germany and more are expected to congregate with local investors in Visakhapatnam. Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has left no stone unturned in terms of highlighting Andhra Pradesh as an investor destination.
The first edition of the CII summit resulted in 328 MoUs signed with a total investment of Rs. 4.67 lakh crore. Similarly, the second edition garnered 665 MoUs with a total investment of Rs. 10.54 lakh crore. CII will showcase the priority areas to facilitate and attract investments, promote networking by bringing the stakeholders and create novel business models as per The Hindu Business Line.
