The official date for Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Entrance Test is out and will commence on April 22, 2018. Based on their performance in AP EAMCET, eligible candidates are admitted into various engineering and agricultural programs every year. This year, JNTU Kakinada will be holding AP EAMCET on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) over a course of three days in 6 sessions.
The exam is a computer-based test and comprises objective type questions which are to be attempted in 3 hours. With the dates already out, students are advised to pace up their revision and focus on practising mock tests and sample papers, available in both- markets as well as on various websites.

Approximately, 2 lakh candidates are expected to appear for AP EAMCET 2018. Candidates are requested to check the eligibility criteria for the same before applying for the exam. Candidates have to fulfil basic edibility criteria including the following points:
Nationality
Candidates must be a citizen of India. They must have a proof of being a native of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.
Age limit
The minimum age to appear for the exam is 16-years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from the recognized board of AP /Telangana in order to get admission in Engineering and Pharmacy.
Those applying for admission in Agriculture Programs should have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology from the recognized board of AP /Telangana.
In case of Pharm- D course, candidates should have completed 10+2 and have scored at least 45% (40% for SC/ST). Diploma candidates and students currently appearing for class 12th
exams can also apply.Once the candidates have fulfilled the eligibility criteria, they can apply for the exam starting from 1st week of February 2018 until 3rd week of March 2018. Application form for the same is available online. Candidates will have to visit the official site and register themselves for the exam by following the steps mentioned below:
AP EAMCET 2018 admit card will be issued by the conducting body in April 2018. The admit card will hold details such as Candidate Name, Exam Venue, Date & Time of the exam, Registration No. and Instructions relating to the exam. Candidates are requested to take their admit card along with them during the exam as it will be their ticket to enter the examination hall.
AP EAMCET 2018 results are expected to be announced in the last week of May 2018. Candidates are requested to check the official website for the same. No other mode will be used to intimate the candidates about the results.
Dates for the Common Entrance test for admission in B.Ed courses (APEDCET) are also out and will be held on April 19; the CETs will be ending on May 4. Apart from this, Minister for Human Resources Development Ganta Srinivasa Rao also announced that entrance exams for students applying for PG engineering courses will be held by Andhra University between May 10 and May 12.
