Ever since the bifurcation of the Telugu states, there has been an increasing number of voices debating over catering due importance to Andhra Pradesh in regard of the Telugu Film Industry. A few argue that the cities of Amaravati and Vizag deem suitable to play host to the film industry while Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu too, has apparently invited to set up film studios in the state to little avail. However, if the latest speculations are anything to go by, popular actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna would soon be setting up a film studio in Vizag.
Reportedly, Balakrishna has also received a go-ahead by the government and would soon be getting his plans for the studio underway. It has also been reported that AVM Productions would be establishing its film studio in the city.
While these are just speculations for the moment, an official confirmation is yet to be made on the same.
Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently busy filming for his upcoming film NTR, which is a biopic on the late legendary actor and politician. While Balakrishna would be seen essaying the titular role, Vidya Balan and Rana Daggubati would be portraying the on-screen roles of Basavatarakam and Chandrababu Naidu respectively. Being directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film is slated for a Sankranthi release next year and is among one of the much-awaited Telugu movies in 2019.
