The park has been developed and is maintained by DNCS. The VC and his wife spent around two hours at the park while the DNCS team explained the importance of each plant being grown at the park. The biodiversity park in AU will be developed on 3-4 acres near the Botany Department.

There is another proposal to develop a bigger park in Madhurawada on 30 acres of space. The DNCS would contribute towards putting up the plants in the parks and maintaining them. The biodiversity parks will add something unique to Andhra Pradesh.
