BJP leaders see no joy in Cabinet reshuffle.

Vizag BJP leaders, especially MP K Haribabu had dreams of a berth after the recent shuffling of Minister by PM Narendra Modi. Unfortunately the news proves otherwise. the City MP did not get a berth at the Center. The further casualty of this could be a wipe out in the GVMC polls for BJP leaders. Telugu Desam that is going strong here will emerge outright winner. The election of Shri Venkaiah Naidu to the post of Vice-president had given hope for a ministerial place to Haribabu.

BJP in Andhra Pradesh: The GVMC elections have been long delayed and are expected to be held in December. The Kakinada and Nandyal bypolls have shown a win win for TD. The BJP is going to find it difficult trying to carve out a bigger share of electoral posts. BJP leaders have been trying to get the Mayor’s post and more tickets. The debacle to the ride on Modi wave is now a jolt to State Unit of BJP. BJP leaders were trying to leverage the fact of the party being in the Center for a better working out of alliance in local arena.

The Telugu Desam has been growing stronger and is expected to sweep GVMC elections. The seats for BJP in GVMC will be restricted.
