The much awaited CBSE results have filled joy in the homes of the students who scored well. This joy would be more thrilling and doubled if it had been a challenge to do so. A student from Ranchi called Tushar Rishi has secured 95% marks in the class 12 board examination of Central Board of Secondary Education while battling cancer.
Reportedly, cancer has been detected in Tushar’s left knee and he is supposed to visit the All India Institute of Medical Science in New Delhi every three months. This condition of his didn’t hamper his academics at all. He scored cent percent in Fine Arts, 95 in English and Physics, 93 in Mathematics and 89 in computers.
According to reports, Tushar had been diagnosed with cancer in the year 2014, right after his mock board exams. He could not attend his class 10 board examinations at that time. However, he appeared in the following year for his 10 class examinations as a student from Delhi Public School, Ranchi. This 19- year old student had scored a CGPA of 10 in his 10th examinations.
After securing a percentage of 95 in his 12th grade, Tushar wants to pursue his under graduation in either English or Economics. This courageous young boy has authored a book titled ‘The Patient Patient’, in which he shares his struggle with cancer. In order to cope with this condition, he is going through appropriate treatment and following a strict diet.
