It was delightful and exciting to roam Vizag city on Friendship Day. Carnival atmosphere and gaiety galore rocked the city. Friends bonded and new friends were made. Shops were abuzz with last minute gift shoppers and florists had bumper sales. Positivity and good cheer was everywhere. It was enough to convert a die-hard peaceful Vizagite. Celebration was on huge scale and parties everywhere. Some places struck a high note but that was not all.
Beach Road bash: Beach Road weighed under the happy weight of celebration. So many people thronged to have a good time here. Colorful attire and balloons with laughter and fun fare marked the hang out. It helped that Friendship Day was on a Sunday, for sure.
DJ @Barista: Friendship Day celebration at Barista was musical for friends. A live DJ had peppy tracks to make the bonding over coffee come alive. A connect was clearly visible and happiness big time.
Bonding over coffee @PCC: What they say about making friends over coffee is true. Groups of friends thronged together to celebrate the special day and cafes around town were alive. Cheerful crowds and youngsters lifted the soul of Vizag.
Flowers showers: Florists did brisk business with friends saying it with flowers. Roses, carnations and more were everywhere. Adding to the color kaleidoscope of Vizag on Friendship Day, flowers gave a fresh joy.
Bands, cards and more: A simple and sweet card or a cute friendship band were the accesories of the day. Celebration with these tokens are a must see. Beads, bands, slogan bands and so much more flew off the shelves. Some had many and some had few but every youngster had one yesterday.
Party fever: Clubs in Vizag marked a high note of celebration. Starting in the evening and partying till late night was the modus operandi for some. The Vizag clubs did not fall short. The friendship day bash at the Park and Novotel were amazing and had good number of attendees. Groups of girls, boys and adults let their hair down(as they say!).
Shopping and bonding: Shopping and retail therapy were on top lists with friends shopping together. Each one, their own after all. Girl gangs were shopping and boys too. Who says men don’t shop. There was motivation enough for all yesterday.
After all, everything in the name of celebration right?
