Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is apparently not too pleased with the comments made by Janasena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan during the party’s Foundation Day held in Guntur on Wednesday.
As per ANI, Mr Chandrababu Naidu, in a teleconference with his party’s MPs, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to repeat the same strategy he had used in Tamil Nadu.

“Instead of giving what AP people are rightfully asking, BJP is resorting to using Jagan Mohan Reddy and Pawan Kalyan against us…PM Modi is trying to repeat in Andhra Pradesh what he has done in Tamil Nadu,” the CM is known to have said in the teleconference.
Stating how PM Narendra Modi had supported the faction of Mr O Panneerselvam against Mr Edappadi Palaniswami in the 2017 feud between the two factions of the AIADMK party following the death of its leader J Jayalalithaa, the CM said that he is using similar tactics by pitting YSR Congress party’s YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Jana Sena’s Pawan Kalyan against him.
The Chief Minister also questioned Mr Kalyan’s intentions behind not pointing a finger towards the central government or Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “It appears as if someone has intentionally held the event for the sake of criticizing us. In these tough times, we are fighting for the state’s cause and blaming us instead of providing support will not help anyone,” Mr Naidu said.
Janasena Party Foundation rally in Guntur saw Mr Pawan Kalyan slam TDP and its president Mr Chandrababu Naidu, along with his son Nara Lokesh. The actor-turned-politician alleged that people have lost trust in TDP as the party has failed to live up to the expectations. Mr Kalyan also questioned the CM why he wasn’t responding to the “corrupt activities” of his son Nara Lokesh. The JSP chief also asked why should he support such a government in the upcoming 2019 elections.
Speaking at the event, Mr Kalyan said that he is determined to fight for achieving the special status for Andhra Pradesh. He further informed that Janasena Party’s manifesto will be released on August 14th and 15th.
