Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that the state government was looking to provide round the clock broadband connectivity to all the households in the state at just Rs 149. Speaking at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) partnership summit 2018 in New Delhi on Wednesday, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu was quoted as saying, “Now I can say proudly that in every home I can give broadband connectivity. 300 channels, video, free telephones and WiFi can be connected in Rs. 149. This kind of facility isn’t available anywhere in the world,”
Earlier, the CM visited Visakhapatnam to attend a three-day international conference organised by the Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India. Speaking at the conference, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu said that women entrepreneurs must be encouraged so as to reach greater heights in the coming days. He said that women are the key to economic development and it’s the responsibility of everyone to encourage their development.
The Chief Minister pointed out that the state possessed of a number of advantageous factors that would facilitate the smooth growth of any business. He added that Andhra Pradesh boasted of good rail, road, and air connectivity, along with a long coastline, which is important for the industrial growth.
