The Coldplay concert will be held on 19th of November in Mumbai. The tickets will be free but not as in a person can walk-in and take a free ticket. The tickets have to be “earned”. The concert is being organised a part of the “Anti-Poverty Global Citizen Festival”. The Global Citizen Festival was established in the year 2012 and the festival takes place every year in New York’s Central Park. The Festival distributes free tickets in return for individual actions to fight extreme poverty.

Whoever wants these free tickets will have to earn them through taking actions in support of education, equality and sanitation campaigns”, said the Global Citizen website.

The concert in Mumbai will take place on 19th of November on the occasion of World Toilet Day. The creative head of the Global Citizen Festival is Chris Martin. The main aim of GCF is to eradicate extreme poverty by the year 2030.

The event launch announcement would be attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan.
