Conduent Inc, a New-Jersey-based digital interactions company, inaugurated its new facility at the iconic Millennium Tower in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. Having already recruited 1600 people for its Visakhapatnam facility, the company plans to expand its services in the near future.
After inaugurating the new office, Conduent CEO for the Asia Pacific, Lokesh Prasad, and Group Chief Executive, Pratap Sarker commended that State Government’s efforts in establishing Visakhapatnam as a technology hub and opined that the local facility would play a crucial role for the company’s prospects in the Asia-Pacific region. Prasad further added
that the group aspired to be the top provider of BPO and IT services in the city and was leveraging cloud technology, IoT, mobile, machine-learning and Blockchain to achieve the same.Pratap Sarker shared that Conduent was focused on regions that have the right talent pool for the work and said that being a part of the city’s dynamic geography is the right move for clients and their people.
Congratulating Conduent on its latest move in the city, Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh said, “Extremely happy to see Conduent open their new office at the Millennium Towers in Vizag. More than 1600 people are working at the facility which is crucial to their business endeavours in the Asia-Pacific region.”
The sea-facing Millennium Tower was inaugurated by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu
