Cyclone Gaja turns the sea turbulent in Vizag

The Cyclonic Storm ‘Gaja’ over the Bay of Bengal has unsettled the waters at Rushikonda in Vizag. With the sea turning turbulent and the waves donning an aggressive avatar, multiple precautions are being taken to prevent any consequences.

While the fishermen have already been warned from venturing into the sea, popular tourist activities at Rushikonda such as speed boating, kayaking and other water sports have been temporarily interrupted.

The sea at Sagar Nagar, Musallayapalem and other neighbouring areas, has also been in the same state. With the cyclonic storm ‘Gaja’ causing strong currents in the waters, six youngsters have also been feared drowned
