“The coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh are likely to receive rainfall from Sunday evening as the depression nears the coast, he shared. Also, shedding light on how the cyclone might affect the weather in Vizag, the official said that the city is likely to experience bad weather with rains and winds in the coming few days. However, by stating that the wind speeds might lie around 50 kmph, he assured that the effects will not be as harsh as in the case of a few of the earlier devastating cyclones that hit Vizag.
