At a media conference held on Sunday about the Digital India in Global It Spectrum, Computer Society of India, Vizag Chapter, chairman and RINL director DN Rao said that 300 delegates from across the country, the US, European and Asian countries would attend the conference. Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT, New Delhi, Aruna Sundararajan, RINL CMD P Madhusudan, advisor for IT and Special Chief Secretary, Andhra Pradesh, JA chowdary would be present at the inaugural session. Former scientific secretary, Government of India, SV Raghavan, would deliver the keynote address.
He further added,” elaborate arrangements are being made for the two-day international conference DIGITS-2017 (Digital India in Global IT Spectrum) to be held from February 24 in the city. The CSI in association with Visakhapatnam Steel Plant is organising the event with the theme of Innovate, Integrate and Transform”.
Rao also mentioned, this conference has been designed to cater various interests of the IT enthusiasts and professionals. The digital life and digital expectations, AP initiatives, financial services, 3D printing in manufacturing, cyber security, challenges in connecting devices, data-driven possibilities, big data, Vizag initiatives and startups are the key topics to be discussed in the conference. At present, 35 papers are received from the delegates and there would be a roundtable meet on digital enterprises on the second day. RINL general manager (IT) and conference organising co-chair KVSS Rajeswara Rao and convener and CSI Vizag Chapter secretary Anindya Paul were also present at the conference held on Sunday.
