Pushkaralu Pilgrims to get Double Decker Trains

The East Coast Railway has made arrangements for the convenience of pilgrims attending the Krishna Pushkaralu. Double decker trains will be run between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad, and Visakhapatnam and Tirupati for the convenience of passengers. Additional booking counters will operate round the clock at Visakhapatnam and Duvvada and enquiry counters have been set up at Visakhapatnam and Gnanapuram for the same.

Apart from the catering stalls available on platforms, Food Plaza and Jan Ahar have been commissioned, water booths increased and vending machines set up. Catering inspectors will work all three shifts to ensure quality and put a check on overpricing, and RPF personnel will ensure crowd control. Lifts and escalators are being checked to ensure proper operation and battery operated cars will be made available to senior citizens and physically challenged. Seating arrangements and shelter on platforms are also being taken care of. 100 mbps WiFi will be operational at the railway station.
