Andhra Pradesh State Government is planning to initiate drone patrolling at various beach locations in the state. The drones would help in reducing the rate of accidents at the beaches. IT Minister, Nara Lokesh, said that drone patrolling would be experimented first at Visakhapatnam beach on a pilot basis.
After speaking to Minister of Social and Family Development of Singapore, Desmond Lee, Lokesh said, “We will experiment drone patrolling in Visakhapatnam to monitor beach accidents and have requested the Singapore minister to lend technical support.”
In a review meeting with Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, about rural development, “In the last four years, we have launched works worth Rs 20,000 crore for asset creation in rural areas and completed 80 percent of it. Perhaps, AP is the only state to have achieved the feat. The CM has directed us to complete the remaining works at the earliest”, Lokesh said.
IT Minister said that rural department would be testing hand pumps to terminate Flouride in the rural areas. “To provide potable water of 70 litres per capita per day to every household in two years is the target which has been set”, Lokesh mentioned.
Lokesh also said that TDP is the only party which is ready to go for elections at booth level whenever announced. ” No other parties are even visible”, he added.
