Do not store them in a box
It is a common practice that we store our leather shoes in a box which should be particularly avoided. Leather shoes need to be stored in an airy place because humidity can harm your precious leather shoes.
Dry your shoes quickly after they get wet
Water can seriously damage your shoes. It is best to avoid contact of water with your shoes. The best remedy is to wipe your shoes with a dry paper and store them wrapped in a dry newspaper for few hours. Do not place wet shoes near a heater as quick heating might create cracks in your shoes.
Do not wear them regularly
We understand that you are very comfortable in your favourite leather shoes but using them regularly can harm them. Let them breather and avoid using the same pair of shoes for more than 3 days. Change them every few days.

It is suggested to use wax polish for your leather shoes as this will give it a clean shine without penetrating the leather and damaging it. Use a wax polish regularly and then wipe off your shoes with a piece of nylon to get that perfect shine.
Use shoe trees
Use of shoe trees is must if you want your shoes to last longer. Shoe trees are made with cedar wood. These shoe trees will not only absorb the moisture from your trees but will also maintain the shape of your shoes.
