Elixsys life science Pvt. Ltd. (“Elixsys”) and the Federation of Asian Bio-Technology Associations (FABA) are jointly organizing The Global Innovation Forum 2018: Breakthroughs that redefine the Cancer Care Continuum, which will take place at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh on 17th and 18th of February 2018. The event will bring together executives, directors, presidents and decision makers from diverse industries involved in addressing various aspects of cancer care. The primary objective of the forum is to create alignment between leadership in industry, academia, clinical care, start-ups and government and design innovative initiatives to improve clinical outcomes for cancer patients. The forum will provide a unique opportunity for all delegates to showcase their expertise and participate in creative problem-solving.
At the forum, the officials intend to develop a cancer-focused network in India that can seamlessly integrate with the rest of the world. This extensive network of diverse stakeholders will, the officials say, present a great ecosystem to design new mechanisms to initiate consortium level R&D projects, training programs, and clinical trials to accelerate translational oncology.
“Creating a comprehensive physical infrastructure that supports innovative initiatives is a critical component of developing novel products and services in India. With support from the progressive Andhra Pradesh State Government a sprawling campus of the Vyas Cancer Research Park, which will house state-of-the-art facilities for translational oncology, will be developed. Several senior government officials and State ministers, instrumental in enabling this visionary project in the State of Andhra Pradesh, are anticipated to be in attendance when the update of the VCR Park cancer bio-cluster project is presented at the forum. While the focus of the VCR Park is to provide improved cost-effective cancer care solutions, it will also create substantial high-quality employment in the State of Andhra Pradesh and have an enormous social and economic impact for the people of Andhra Pradesh, India, and beyond,” said a release from Elixsys.
The Global Innovation Forum will be held on 17th and 18th February at Novotel, Visakhapatnam.
