The telly audience has got the two most awaited drops of the year and they can’t get enough of it. Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu or EMK (previously known as Meelo Evaru Koteeswarulu) and Bigg Boss are the two most celebrated reality shows that have garnered interest among Telugu audiences over the years. With an enigma around the host and participants, these reality shows are one of the most speculated buzzes over social media. They had also recorded high Television Rating Points (TRPs) with every telecast. Over this weekend, a sneak peek was given into the premiere episode of EMK while Bigg Boss Telugu released a promo for its fifth season.
Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu is a Telugu adaptation of Kaun Banega Crorepati hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. Recently, Gemini, the channel airing the reality show, announced that Jr. NTR will be the host. This will be the comeback of the celebrated actor to the small screen nearly after four years. On Sunday, Jr. NTR took to his social handles to drop a sneak peek and announced the guest and the world premiere date of the first episode of EMK.
Announcing that Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu would premier on 22 August, Jr. NTR was seen elated to welcome Ram Charan as the first guest. The promo also gives a sneak peek into how playful the episode is going to be. With the two coming together for SS Rajamouli’s upcoming magnum opus and featuring on several frames together, the first episode has pushed all the bars on expectations.
The show was previously titled Meelo Evaru Koteeswarulu and was hosted by King Nagarjuna and later by Megastar Chiranjeevi.
The Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5 celebrity host and participants have been on the industry buzz for quite some time and the promo was the ultimate answer to draw curtains to the speculations. The two reality shows have been on the lookout with everyone locked indoors. While Season 4 of Bigg Boss Telugu had pulled it off maintaining all the safety protocols, Tollywood loyalists can’t wait for Season 5. And with the dynamic pairing of Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the first episode, Evaru Meelo Koteeswaralu is expected to get off to a rollicking start.
