Filter Coffee yumm-amazing facts that will have you sipping fast.

“Filter” coffee is coffee beans that have been roasted and ground. It is for used in coffee making machines. This makes ‘fresh’ coffee and prepared in a retentive process. It has variety of qualities not found in instant – such as sweeter, more distinct flavours, etc. People who prefer proper (freshly made) coffee prefer the flavour, quality and effects from caffeine that one gets in filter coffee.

Let us see what is the #fact which makes filter coffee more kick-ass – Defination

Ground Coffee is made by grinding coffee beans into fine powder. This powder is then used to make the coffee decoction which we consume as black coffee or with varying degree of milk/cream mixed in.

Instant Coffee is essentially freeze dried coffee. In this process the coffee is first brewed into the decoction and then reducing the pressure to allow the frozen water to sublime directly from the solid phase to the gas phase. Whats left is essentially the essence of the coffee in a solid format which can be stored at room temperature without dissolving.

Filter coffee is thus fresher and better.

As against filter coffee, instant coffee is of the solid format. Over time the instant coffee powder at the bottom often gets sticky. This is because over time the instant coffee absorbs moisture from the air and dissolves into the decoction. Coffee grounds for filter coffee have a better shelf life.

Caffiene is good for you, filter coffee is the way to drink it folks.

Instant coffee consumption over a long term is bad for health. It causes a decrease in iron absorption of the body. While overall excess consumption of coffee in the long term causes a decrease, the risk of malabsorption its about 3.0x higher for instant coffee than for ground/filter coffee.

A matter of good taste because without taste, it is a waste.

Rich and aromatic, filter coffee carries the punch of caffiene. The concentration in more and the taste reflects it. Instant coffee has considerably lesser caffeine and taste as compared to filter coffee. The drying format of the coffee process creates a flat taste. There is no compromising on this department for a coffee lover.
