In a yet another meritorious achievement for the former Professor of Andhra University (AU), Vizag, Nandipati Subba Rao, the recently released AD Scientific Index – 2021, has ranked him 18th in India, 187th in Asia, and 1,856th in the world in the discipline of Earth Sciences. The AD Scientific Index is a ranking of scientists, in various scientific research journals around the world, based on their index coefficients for publishing their personal scientific research papers over the past five years and their subject matter.
To date, Mr Acharya Subba Rao has published over 120 scientific papers in various reputed National and International Scientific Research Journals. In the h-Index of AD Scientific Index – 2021, which indicates how many scientists have used scientific research papers published by a researcher as supporting references in their published research papers, Mr Rao’s research papers were awarded 35. For the unversed, if this index awards less than 20, then it indicates a general scientist. If the index is between 20 and 40, it suggests a good scientist. If it is from 40 to 60, it represents the best scientist; If it is more than 60, it indicates a rare scientist.
It is worth noting that Professor Subba Rao is already remembered as a scientist in the “World’s Top 2% Scientists – 2020 and 2021” lists compiled by the world-renowned Stanford University in the USA.
