GITAM (Deemed to be University)
The Gitam Institute of Management was ranked 1st in AP and TS by OUTLOOK and tenth in south India BY BUSINESS WORLD in the year 2016-2017. Besides, it also ranked no. 36 in all India by Business Today. Apart from this, the Director in Charge of Gitam School of Gandhian Studies, Gitam University, B. Nalini has been awarded the desirable and esteemed Fulbright research fellowship.
She has been awarded the fellowship at the branch of International Studies, University of Nebraska, for working on the project ‘Resilience and identity reconstruction of the Winnebago tribe: Implications for rehabilitation of the tribal out sees of development induced displacement
.’Dr. Nalini has been effective in the teaching and research fields since 2004. Previously she was also acknowledged with the best teacher and best researcher awards. Gitam university chancellor K.Ramakrishna Rao, vice-chancellor M.S.Prasada Rao congratulated Dr. Nalini on her success.
The programme is the flagship international educational exchange programme- sponsored by the US government. Recognized in 1946 under a legislation introduced by late senator J William Fulbright, it now operates in over 155 countries worldwide.
