The shortest and more convenient route to cover Vanjangi distance from Vizag is via Vaddadi Madugula, Paderu, Dumbriguda Road. If you start at 2’ o’clock in the morning you would probably reach Vanjangi in time for the sunrise.
About a 3-hour drive from Visakhapatnam, Vanjangi is located 3,400 feet above sea level, therefore offering some breathtakingly astonishing spectacles. As you reach the vantage point at the locale, you can see dense clouds floating endlessly amid the hills. For the first thing in the morning, this is certainly a sight to behold. Vanjangi village doesn’t have any accommodation facilities for the tourists yet. But many are opting to camp in the open spaces. You can also stay at Araku, and start at 3 or 4 in the morning from Araku to Paderu which is about a distance of 40km. From here a 6 km long motorable road needs to be taken. Thereafter, with the way not feasible for travel by motor vehicles, the visitors have to take a trek of 4-5 km to the hilltop. After a tedious trek, you get to the breathtaking sunrise view from the vantage point.
