Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
Idli batter
Yellow bell pepper sliced
Red bell pepper sliced
Green bell pepper sliced
Salad tomatoes sliced
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tbsp salted butter (optional)
To Garnish:
Coriander leaves, tomato slice, carrot and mint leaves
Method:
1.Grease square steel plates (to appear like sandwich) and fill with idli batter and steam cook like regular idlis.
2.Microwave bell pepper slices for a minute.
3.Slice the idlis carefully and spread butter to each slice.
4.Place 3 bell pepper slices and 1or 2 tomato slices and sprinkle some pepper over it.
5.Place the other half on the top.
6.Repeat the process with the remaining idlis.
7.Garnish.
8.Serve with tomato sauce and green chutney. Voila!
