The Indian Institute of Management, IIM Visakhapatnam is carving a niche for itself and HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao has unveiled a new logo for it.
On Sunday, the IIm Visakhapatnam got a brand new logo which was unveiled by HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao. It has not been many days since the inception of IIM at Visakhapatnam but it has already made its mark. It is located in a favourable place in Andhra Pradesh with Visakhapatnam being a business, commercial and international trade hub. In addition to this, the infrastructure as well as educational facilities available for the the students of IIM here is top notch. The development has been swift and beneficial as per the HRD Minister. Shoulder to shoulder with the IIM institutions else where, the one in Visakhapatnam has already attracted reputed companies for placements for the students from all over India who study here.
The state of Andhra Pradesh is also requisitioning students from the institution to be a tool for socio-economic change by playing a more direct role in governance. The IIM Visakhapatnam is too be further developed and standards escalated so that the institute gathers global prominence and standards. Vizag is not called The City of Destiny for nothing. A city geared for changing into a Smart City in totality, it offers the proactive business and industry wise interface necessary for budding managers and corporate citizens to excel in their own right. The HRD Minister congratulated the institution and expressed hope and optimism at it’s progress.
