The building of a new International school has been planned.The school is likely to come up in the outskirts in Visakhapatnam. The total estimated cost for this project has been set at Rs. 93 crore. The International school is going to be built under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP).
This new International school will be the first school in Andhra Pradesh to introduce the International Baccalaureate (IB) syllabus. The IB system of education helps a child develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills needed to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. The IB system allows a student to pursue their education in any country in the world.
The new International school to be set up will take 1000 students initially and will gradually give admission to 2000 over a time period. The bidding for this project was completed by the Infrastructure Corporation of Vizag a year ago.
This school will be very useful to those who wish to pursue their education abroad.
