Here’s How Indian Celebrities Celebrated International Yoga Day ’17

When you own your breath, nobody can steal your peace! This is what we as human beings are reminded of every year on 21st June during the International Yoga Day celebrations. It has been exactly 3 years now that people from around the world come together and together they come for peace. The Indian streets enjoyed a specter as people of all age groups wearing beautiful clothing had an all inclusive yoga session. One could spot a celeb here and a politician there, an athlete stretching or a yoga enthusiast enjoying doing some of the trickiest asanas all over the country! Here is how some of the cream of the country celebrated their Yoga day:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed several yogic exercises at an event organized in Lucknow.

Malaika Arora Khan, Arbaaz Khan & Shaina NC

The owner of an absolutely amazing body, actress Malaika Arora Khan was found participating at an event organized at Marine Drive, Mumbai to mark the 3rd International Yoga Day. Arbaaz Khan accompanied by BJP leader Shaina NC was also spotted inhaling peace at a similar event.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra

Everyone is well aware the kind of fitness enthusiast the lady is as she is constantly out there propagating Yoga among youth through her fitness DVDs. This International Yoga Day she posted a video on Instagram in which she was performing the beautiful asana of Bakasana. She also posted pictures of her doing other asanas.

Kangana Ranaut

The actress who is an expert at stealing our hearts away with her soulful performances took the opportunity to share her idea of soulful peace with her Instagram family.

Bipasha Basu Grover and Karan Singh Grover

The couple posted photographs on Instagram today showing off their fitness levels in appealing postures.

Cricketer Ishant Sharma posted a photograph on Instagram where he was seen doing Yoga with his friends wearing t-shirts which had the following quotation printed on them – “Yoga isn’t a work-out, it’s a work-in”.

Delhi’s Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal was seen gracing an event in the country’s capital today morning.
