IPL has released the schedule for the first two weeks of the IPL 2019 season. The dates, however, are still subject to the announcement of the Lok Sabha election dates. The dates for the remaining tournament are expected to be announced once the dates of the Lok Sabha elections are known. Also, contrary to a few reports that speculated the tournament might be shifted out of India, it has been confirmed that the mega domestic league will be played in India.

Once the election dates are released we will address any issues with the first two weeks and also prepare a schedule for the remainder of the season working with the local authorities around the polling dates,” the IPL desk reported.
