KGF team to visit Vizag as the film storms the BO

KGF (Kolar Gold Fields) is continuing its dream at the Box Office in Telugu states. Released on 21 December, the Kannada film, along with its dubbed versions of Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. has been registering impressive numbers all across the globe. Celebrating the success of the Telugu version, film’s unit will be visiting Vizag on 26 December, as a part of its success tour in Andhra Pradesh.

After interacting with the fans in Tirupati and Vijayawada, team KGF is expected to visit Sarat theatre in Vizag around 4 pm on Wednesday.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film stars Yash and Srinidhi in the lead roles. KGF essays the gritty story of the rise of a gangster in 1980s. Reportedly, the film has managed to collect close to Rs 80 crore in just 4 days, making it one of the most successful Kannada films. Also, the film has been setting newer benchmarks for Kannada films in the US market.

Trade Analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, “In 4 days, #KGF has grossed nearly ₹ 80 Crs at the WW Box Office. Since Monday, there is an upswing in collections in Telugu States, TN and Kerala, compared to the weekend (sic).”
