The state cabinet has allotted land to the Handloom and Textile Department for setting up a Textile Park in Mylavaram in Kadapa. 62.18 acres of land has been allotted for the same. The state cabinet has also allotted land for various other purposes.
21 acres of land has been allocated at Serikolam village in Parigi Mandal in Anantapur for an industrial park and a multi-product SEZ. Afore mentioned are priced at at Rs 3 lakh per acre. 44.78 acres at Settigunta village in Railway Koduru Mandal of Kadapa district, priced at Rs 9.50 lakh per acre.
75 acres have been allotted in Visakhapatnam for the expansion of the SEZ at Pushimadaka, priced at Rs 10 lakh per acre, in Atchutapuram mandal at Duppituru at Rs 12 lakh per acre and 61.56 acres has been allotted in Madakasira Mandal in anantapur at Rs 90,000 per acre for an MSME Park.
Special Purpose Vehicles will be used for implementing state sponsored Smart City Schemes in Anantapur, Eluru, Kurnool, Ongole and Srikakulam according to the Central Government’s Smart Cities Mission guidelines.
Decisions were also taken for development of a multi-purpose recreation and commercial centre in the Vijayawada City Square in PPP mode. The Vijayawada City Square is located at Swaraj Maidan and spans 27.5 acres. There will also be a 35% hike in the wages of Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty and a 10% incentive based on their performance. A Tourism and Culture Board will soon be established for forming an ordinance.
