LuLu Mall, Multiplex and more is coming to Visakhapatnam soon.

Visakhapatnam is going head over heels ever since state division. With up gradation around every corner of the City almost every month, it’s no surprise we have something new coming again. A very exciting news indeed for us. The LuLu Group International which is based in the Gulf is planning to come to Vizag soon. They have big plans if they set foot on the shores of the city. LuLu Mall in the various places it is located in India such as Kochi or Trivandrum spells tonnes of fun. They will be bringing a lot to our retail plate and our tummy feels full alright.

The LuLu Group is planning big investment in an international standard convention centre, a five star hotel, a multiplex and the LuLu Mall. All this is coming up in the Harbour Park area on Beach Road going by the news. We could not be happier. While shopping and entertainment options are many, more choices is more fun.

All this is in the pipeline and a team from the said group is likely to visit Vizag soon. The visit is for understanding the lay before the agreements are signed with the Andhra Government. The projects that will cost an investment of Rs.700 Crores will happen in 3 years. The project will be worked out in a phased manner. An expression of interest from prospective developers has already been invited.

The project will be on the model of public-private partnership. enabling both Government and Private bodies to team up for a much more enhanced approach. What makes this venture more attractive is the convention hall. Vizag is yet to claim one. The road block to conducting major national and international events here will be addressed. LuLu Mall acknowledged as an experience of global standards has wowed Indians in the southern shores. It has changed the shopping and retail appetite of Kochi. As for us, we will be waiting until then.
