Luxury Yachts Coming To Krishna River.

Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation is bringing us really exciting news. No more just movies. Yachts, are coming to Krishna River and APTDC is undertaking the infrastructure proposal for a luxury yachting service. Three acres of land at Bhavani island have been allocated for this project and a marina for mooring the yachts is underway. Private operators are going to are going to be let in and Government wants to put yacht rentals in place of it’s own.

This ‘Sagar Mala Project’ for creating yachting facilities has been sanctioned Rs.20 Crore by the Central Government and the state is pitching an equal sum. It starts with infrastructure accommodating 25 yachts.

That is not all!! An in-principal approval for 4 more and Central clearance has been given to replicating the project in Visakhapatnam, Nellore, Srikakuam and East Godavari. The approval is pending hydrological studies.
